Resistance training, also known as strength training, is a form of slow, controlled exercise that forces your muscles to perform against tension, such as against an elastic band, free weights, or a cable machine. Making resistance training part of your exercise routine can help to improve your muscle strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, and range of motion while fighting bone loss and easing the symptoms of arthritis pain. My staff and I at INHOC Fitness make senior fitness equally as important as fitness for any age. Exercising with INHOC Fitness you will learn how to use simple movements and resistance bands to increase your fitness. We will work on core strength, posture, muscle balancing, stretching exercises, and low impact aerobics. The one-hour classes include a 5-minute warm-up, 20 minutes of simple movements to produce cardiovascular training, and 35 minutes of strength training
